Beyond the Hamster Wheel: Moving from Doubt to Magic ✨
Turning hesitation into belief, certainty, and knowing
Every life you imagine begins with a whisper; a spark of possibility.
But whispers need more than hope to grow; they need belief.
In conscious creation, belief is just the first layer. Beyond it lies certainty, and beyond that, knowing.
Each layer is simply a deeper, stronger form of belief, shaping how you move, respond to doubt, and step into the reality you’re ready to create.
Understanding these layers is like learning to dance with the unseen currents of the Universe.
Once you feel their rhythm, you glide rather than stumble, and watch your intentions bloom into the life you’ve imagined.
Belief
Belief is where most people begin. It’s the first layer of how we experience and shape our reality.
Belief is just a thought.
It is not set in stone or concrete.
It’s a mental and emotional agreement with something that could be true and it is practiced by us, until it becomes real to us.
Sometimes we practice it so often that it starts to feel certain, but that certainty comes later, as belief deepens.
Belief often starts as just a choice, sometimes even a hopeful one, especially when there’s no physical proof yet.
Belief says, “I’m open to this. I’m willing to see it this way.”
It can feel strong at times, but it’s also flexible. It can grow, or it can wobble when circumstances push back.
A helpful way to see belief is like learning to trust a new path in the woods. You don’t fully know where it leads yet, but something in you says it’s worth walking.
It is also like planting a seed in the garden and watering the soil.
You aren’t sure, but you hope it will grow.
Sometimes, curiosity or doubt makes us dig in to check, to see if it is growing yet.
Certainty
Certainty is belief that has stabilized.
It’s no longer something you’re just trying to hold. It’s something that holds you. There’s a groundedness to it.
Even when things don’t look like they’re working yet, certainty doesn’t immediately collapse. It carries a quiet confidence that says, “This is happening. I may not see all the pieces yet, but I’m not shaken.”
If belief is planting the seed in the garden, certainty is continuing to water it without digging it up.
It’s the point where you stop questioning whether the seed can grow and start living as though its growth is inevitable.
Another way to look at it: belief is checking the weather before you leave the house; certainty is walking out with an umbrella trusting it will rain, even if the sky hasn’t opened yet.
Knowing
Knowing goes beyond both belief and certainty.
It’s not something you try to hold onto. It simply is.
There’s no internal debate, no need for reassurance, no effort to maintain it.
Knowing feels natural, obvious, and complete.
It’s not loud or forceful.
It’s actually very quiet.
It carries a sense of “of course” rather than “I hope” or even “I’m sure.”
Using the same metaphor, knowing is like standing in the garden in full bloom.
You’re not thinking about the seed anymore.
You’re not even focused on the process.
You’re simply experiencing what is.
Another way to look at it:
imagine recognizing your own name when someone calls it.
You don’t question it, analyze it, or reinforce it.
You just turn, because you know it’s yours.
That’s the energy of knowing.
It doesn’t need proof, because it feels true before anything shows up to confirm it.
If you look at these three together, you can almost feel the progression:
Belief opens the door…
certainty walks through it…
and knowing lives on the other side as if it was always home.
Credendo Vides ~ By Believing One Sees
So, when we are looking at conscious creation, you don’t need to be certain.
You don’t need to know.
You just have to believe enough that you believe it is possible and that it is possible for you.
Enough to keep watering the seed instead of digging it up every day.
Belief is not an on or off switch. It is more like a dimmer switch.
Most people think it’s either “I believe” or “I don’t.” But in reality, it’s adjustable and it is getting adjusted all the time.
Doubt And Fear
Belief opens the door to your dreams.
Doubt or fear can kill a dream.
I am not saying you shouldn’t doubt or that being afraid will kill your dream.
It is normal to doubt or be afraid. Everyone experiences doubt and fear. That’s part of being human.
Doubt or fear may knock, but that doesn’t mean you have to invite them in, give them a seat at the table, and make them the guest of honor. 😉
It is alright to be unsure, but doubt can put the brakes on any creation, or slow it way down.
What keeps people stuck isn’t the thought itself. It’s how long they stay there.
It can feel like running on a hamster wheel.
When you’re in that tight, urgent state, your thinking tends to repeat itself.
Same angles, same questions, same conclusions.
That’s why it feels like motion without progress.
You never get anywhere, and it can be exhausting, but guess what?
Did you know you can step off that wheel in a second, by shifting your attention to something else?
The shift happens when something in you softens, even a little.
That’s why answers show up in the shower, on a walk, or after sleep. You didn’t force the solution… you gave it space to appear.
Years ago, I could spin on a hamster wheel for an hour or more, just going over the same thoughts, again and again.
That was before I became aware of how my thoughts were affecting how I felt and what I experience. Simply becoming aware can make a remarkable difference.
Then, I realized something.
Maybe the hamster wheel isn’t really the problem.
Maybe it’s what’s playing on the screen inside your mind while you’re running.
If your mind is determined to replay the same movie for a while, why not choose one you’d actually enjoy watching?
Instead of rehearsing everything that could go wrong, spend a few laps imagining what it will feel like when things go right.
Every lap around the hamster wheel is an opportunity to practice. The only question is: what are you practicing?
Even today, I still have doubts, but I don’t climb onto the hamster wheel with them. Sometimes, I wonder whether a new “X” I am creating will be well received.
Then I remember that the Universe has my back and will bring the people who resonate with what I have to offer. That thought feels better, and because I believe it, that’s where I choose to place my attention.
But if you doubt that you can create your dream, don’t worry, because I can show you a quick way to shift that doubt to belief that it can happen.
It’s called The Belief Detective. 🕵
You just find something that you believe is true, and gather the data. Then, you look at what you doubt, or are unsure of, and gather that data. Then, you check for differences, and apply them.
That is when the magic happens. It’s fun and easy, and it is like taking baby steps from doubt to belief in just a few minutes. The full instructions are on the page and in the playbook.
Some people only need a small shift, from doubt to belief, and things begin to move.
Others feel called to stabilize that into something stronger, like certainty.
And some naturally expand into knowing over time.
None of those stages are “better.”
They’re just different points along the same path.
And truly, belief is key.
The certainty and knowing are like frosting on the cake of belief.
You can think of doubt or fear like one of those airport walkways going in the wrong direction. The longer you stay on it, the more frustrating it feels.
But the moment you step off, everything changes. You’re no longer fighting it, and now you can choose where to go next. Most people don’t realize they even have that choice at first, but you do.
You just need to become aware of how you feel.
How you feel tells you everything.
If you don’t feel good, you are on a walkway going away from your dream.
When you feel good, you are steadily moving towards it.
And remember, you don’t have to think wonderful thoughts all the time. That is not your job.
You just need to think them more often than you are thinking negatively. Just over 50% is enough to keep the momentum going.
And one more thought before we finish…
If you’ve made it this far, there’s something in you that might want to go farther.
Something that is ready to consciously create a new reality.
Something that is ready to create your own enchanted life.
That is special.
You are special and I believe in you. 💖💖💖
